On first smell, dark berries with a touch of compote – you’ll know its big and fruity and will expect a typical Rhone Valley, tannic barrage at the end of the sip, but no, it remains ever so pleasantly smooth and silky, and just keeps going with a very long finish. Serve this at or just below room temperature and enjoy with mature yellow cheese, rich saute dishes or grilled meats.
